Margaret Anderson was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and completed her BA in Political Science and Russian at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. A Fulbright Russia Alumna, she received an MA in Russian Studies at the European University at St. Petersburg, Russia and worked in international education in Russia and the United States before graduating from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2012. As a career advisor at Booth, she guided first-year students in their job search, revising their resumes, cover letters, and conducting mock interviews for summer internships. After business school, she worked on economic growth and health sector development projects for an Australian company. She currently manages a portfolio of agricultural development projects in Ethiopia. A native speaker of English, Margaret also speaks fluent Russian and German.
